INSPIRE Metadata in a simple Excel file

Main Author: SINERGIS SRL
Co-Authors: EPSILON ITALIA SRL
Description: The Excel file may be used to easily compile simple metadata according to INSPIRE. Simple metadata mens that each element can be valued with only one occurrence (e.g. only one keyword). From the sheet "Form" you may generate a valid INSPIRE XML file (ISO19139) by clicking on the "Export XML" cell. The XML file generated may be uploaded into existing metadata catalogue (es. GeoNetwork, Geoportal Server, CKAN) and then be updated, extended or published as is. This file has been implemented in the GeoSmartCity project (http://www.geosmartcity.eu) and is freely available.
