Description: Task The infrastructure node construction project for the district of Oberhavel pursues two main aims: to create a stable and sustainable platform on which both a public portal and several special-purpose portals can be established, and to fulfil the legal requirements arising out of the EU INSPIRE Directive. As an integral part of the SDI for Berlin and Brandenburg and the overriding spatial data infrastructures, its functional range and performance spectrum has to comply with local, national and international requirements. Right from the start, the focus has been on maintaining the added value to be gained from implementing the INSPIRE Directive for the local authority, the general public, business and science.
